The Sixteenth century marks a time of conflict in Europe, not only with the conflict of power and rule between country’s governmental bodies and their state churches, but also the conflict of beliefs and ways of worship among the divisions of the Roman Catholic Church itself. One product of this trial was the creation of the Anglican Church, or the Church of England, which personified many of the desired feelings and virtues attributed to the attitudes of the collected societies at the time. The description that follows is a description of the events that led to the English Reformation, the creation of the Church of England, and the reforms of the Roman Catholic Church with conflicting views related to other protestant movements of the time.
