When it came to finding references in Paradise Lost that relate to the Church of England and the Puritans, it was somewhat difficult. However, there are a couple in Book XII:
XII. 402-465
Within these lines, there are mentions of predestination and following God's will; the use of the baptismal font and sign of the cross; and limited atonement is also hinted.
XII. 508-551
These lines discuss the Holy Spirit that becomes a part of man and also looks at the will of God and who He will save.
